- RetSgt7114ExplorerI personally do not set any numbers, be it mileage goals, or time limits. I drive until I feel like stopping, and stop until I feel like driving. Might end up doing 100 miles one day, and 1000 the next. For me, that's the beauty of RV travel. What ever works for you....
- monkey44Nomad IIWe like to do 20 miles per day, 20 hours relaxing, and 4 hours watching the neighbors.
- wildtoadExplorer IIAt almost 60, I tend to think that 300 is a good number as well. Sure I could do more, but have found few reasons to do so. Get there before dark, have time to setup, relax, take a short walk, have a libation.
- Cloud_DancerExplorer III'm 73, and my driver duty-time limit is 12 hours. This includes stopping frequently for stretching and unkinking. We also stop for purpose of walking our two little dogs, and whatever else we deem necessary. I enjoy driving our motorhome, but we always make sure we get a good night's sleep. Our motorhome is quiet and comfortable.
- More_To_SeeExplorerOK. But what about the first day out when you might want to put on some real miles to go see some new territory?

Great rule if you have the time.I wish I could do it.
We like to do the 2X2X2 rule. 200 miles per day, arrive by 2:00 pm and stay at least 2 days. Ages 66 and 71. - deewhite0612ExplorerWe like to do the 2X2X2 rule. 200 miles per day, arrive by 2:00 pm and stay at least 2 days. Ages 66 and 71.
- To each their own. When i hit 70 i hope i can still do around 500 miles/day.
- Jack_Diane_FreeExplorerI am 67 years old and I think 300 miles per day is about 6 hours with stops/fuel etc. is enough at any time. The 10-12 hours towing was ok when working to cover limited vacation time but I am in no hurry now.
