Homeless! - RoadLifeExplorerAt 70? Hah. I'm 61 and dh is 67. 300 is our max. Sometimes it is just 60. Once it was maybe two miles!! We are retired. Don't have to hurry hurry hurry like we did when it was a limited vacation from work. Love taking it easy and exploring more of the country.
- notevenExplorer III300 miles a day? That's for them electric cars. We wouldn't get home with the groceries here in Canada's Outback...:)
- hersheyExplorerIsn't is great that we can set a pace that is, compared to the long weekend or two week vacation RVers very leisure based. I'm betting we can all remember the leave Friday afternoon right from work, drive till midnight, catch a catnap, up at dawn and drive like crazy to Grandmas house or Disneyland. Spend a couple days trying to included everything that important to the kids and Grandma and drive hundreds and hundreds of miles to get back home, into the driveway and collapse into bed for 4 hours sleep and off to work. Darn, that made me tired just typing.....
- hone_eagleExplorerMaybe you can sell the leftover? Like Algore does with carbon credits?
ask for bids - doxiemom11Explorer IIWe travel slow. We like the 2X2X2 rule also. We aren't in a hurry, we aren't on vacation. We are full-timers, so we try to enjoy our travel.
- mr__edExplorerI'm almost 69 and agree about 300 miles is a good distance for a day's drive. Since I'm a retired fulltimer I'm never in a rush to get somewhere.

With that 2005 Chevy 5.3 Supercharged 395HP beast, you should chew up 300 miles pretty dang quick. What's the issue?
Still have the 5.3 fast, very fast puller.
