Living in SoCal we have nice weather year around but if we really want cold and snow it's only a couple of hours drive it the mountains for cold and snow. :)

Really feel for those a of you in the Midwest and northeast!
We spent New Years on the Oregon Coast near Newport temps were high 40's to high 20's at night. This week they are seeing highs in the low 60's and lows in the low 40's. Maybe we can go again this weekend.

I love living in Arizona with 365 days of camping season! Elevation varies from near sea level to over 9,000' so there is always camping areas at the perfect climate somewhere in AZ year round.

Sounds like my husband's count down to retirement - but we have been on the road for years in the rv while he works so we are looking forward to staying at home for a while, see grandbabies, etc. Wonder how long before the itch to hit the road will strike.

Right now (9:37 am), my LaCross weather station at my house says wind chill -22.1, wind speed 21.5, real temperature 11.5. But the sun is out and it's shining bright, not a cloud in the sky!

We are in the Houston area and they were forecasting a hard freeze but I could almost sit on the patio with a coffee this morning. I'm easy, I'm grew up in Michigan. We laugh about not remembering what day it is but being on the road for the last 2 winters has messed up my mind as to the seasons. Not a bad thing but I have to watch myself when talking to others because they are still up there. I'll ride along and tell the wife I wonder why they are doing this or that and then remember oh it's winter here too!
