I knew when we were going to be in Phoenix Az to visit my brother for 5 days so the day before we got to Phoenix my daughter went to the post office and shipped my meds priority mail 2-3 day service. ...

When it had been 7 days and the priority mail(to Gen Del) had not arrived,I went back home and got the tracking number,supplied by our mail forwarding service.It showed that the mail had been delivered to the PO 3 days ago. brought that fact to their attention.
The look on the clerks face,priceless! They "found" the "lost" mail right away.
