Many people just love to badmouth the PO. As with any other entity, there will be glitches. We have been fulltime fulltimers for 13 years. We have our mail forwarded by a friend via priority about once a month. In all of that time we've only had a problem with delayed delivery ONCE. That's once out of roughly 156 transactions. Purty good track record that few businesses can claim. And no, I have never been a USPS employee nor do I know one personally.
Let's look at a factual scenario. Someone will come to your home in Florida, pick up a missive that you have addressed to someone in Washington state and hand deliver it to their mailbox within roughly 5 days (very frequently sooner). For that they want to charge you 49 freakin' cents! Outrageous!!
