I have nothing against the USPO employees. A few have personality (or lack of) issues, but don't we all? My issue is the business model. Our local post offices in the four nearest towns do not open until 9am. They then close for lunch either from 11:30- 12:30 or from 12:30 to 1:30. They lock up and go home at 4p.m. No let me ask you? How in the heck does a working sap deal in person with the post office without taking off from work. If I ran my company with hours like that I would have shuttered the windows years ago. No one thought to schedule a single person to mind the store during lunch or open a little early and stay a little late? Really? Forget banker's hours.
