When items such as mortgage and other payments started being returned to me shredded I stopped sending them via mail and pay online.
When bills started arriving late or not at all causing late fees etc I started receiving them electronically.
Since I can't always get to a office of the USPS during what they consider business hours I've resorted to other places who open earlier or stay open later. Sorry, but I start work before they open and leave long after they've gone home.
Some employees at the counter over the years have been very nice and helpful. A couple were incompetent and a couple rude. About normal for customer service across the board, sad to say.
So my use of the USPS has diminished greatly. Considering the fiscal problems I'd welcome only getting mail 2-3x a week.
Heck, I don't even need my trash collected 2x a week - once is enough. In fact I usually don't even put out the darned can since I have to get up so early to put it to the curb because if I put it out the night before the pesky bears and coons tear it up. They should do something about those bears interfering with the garbage. See? We can complain about almost any service!
