The worst service comes on the days that a substitute carrier is on a route. They have no desire or incentive to do a proper job.
Recently we had mail that was expected and addressed to us with the note to hold at the office. The sub carrier marked it undeliverable as addressed. Luckily I checked the tracking number and saw the note. After a long wait on the 800 number, I got the number for the post office delivering the mail. They found the mail in the back with two other pieces of mail (mail order prescriptions). I had it held as it was Saturday and picked it up.
This week we got the mailin two days and it was addressed exactly the same.
