A clean engine is a happy engine!

I got inspired enough enough by a Youtube video to at least think about cleaning my 14 year old car engine. Got as far as whatever would move with the compressor hose & said NUTS to it. The engine compartment had been sprayed with a black rust inhibitor from new & I don't want to move any of that.

My boat is another matter. The engine is bright white. This way any hose or oil leaks show very easily. Dirt is not an issue on the water.
