I should have known better after reading all the good advice here on RV.net, but I gave it a try anyway. Camping in a commercial C/G on a holiday weekend is not for me again. Some tent campers next door, after drinking beer and shots straight out of a whiskey bottle all afternoon, commenced to ranting about the government by screaming with “F” bombs as loud as they could for over an hour and in front of children and young adults. ......
I Full Time so I know to stay away from all CG's that are located in a resort area or known as a destination for Memorial Day campers.
I have no problem with people partying. Many only get away a week or two a year so be it. For me it's just another day in a CG while traveling so I seek out the ones that are not in that venue.
Going to a popular resort CG on any holiday and expecting it to be quiet is liken to going to a rock concert and telling them not to play so loud!:B
There ARE numerous CG's available off the beaten path in every town you can go to avoid the popular party CG's.
My guess was you managed to hit the most popular one! IMHO I would have recorded the swearing on my iPhone, played it back to the CG owner and simply asked the CG for a refund and left and found another CG. Just saying.
WHOA, STOP! That is not always legal! In some states, recording without consent is a FELONY!
If they are in private. But sitting in your own campsite and recording the "sounds of nature" is not illegal.
