I see the first Kickstarter backer received his wheel personally delivered in Boston. It looks like that was more of a photo-op than a dateline met.
Here is what Geoorbital has to say to the kickstarter backers that pledged money a year ago:
"We appreciate how disappointed our Backers are that they did not yet receive their wheel, and we will be working through the holiday period to produce and ship them as soon as possible. We expect most of our backers will receive their wheel in January and are still trying to ship some more out this month. We promise to keep you all updated. Thank you all for your patience and support."
