I also have a 2014 Overland with adaptive cruise. It tows very easily. That adaptive cruise is WONDERFUL. The best feature since original cruise. Of course that has nothing to do with it's towing ease. I moved up 12 technology years from a 2002 to a 2014. WOW,, TED

Why no adaptive cruise? I tow a 2014 Grand Cherokee w/tech package which includes adaptive cruise. Simple as can be to tow, put tranny in neutral hit neutral button on 4x4 selector, turn off engine and go. No fuses or electrical drains to worry about. BTW in my area the adaptive cruise which works to a full stop is fantastic in stop and go traffic. Lastly, the total weight is right at 5000 lbs, so make sure you have the proper setup.
