Hank's explanation is correct. Usually everything (and everybody...) turns out heavier than advertised. It'll be easy to load the Fuze to GVWR. Hard to not exceed it. The coach weight, loaded for travel, and that of the car, are going to determine what can be done.
I looked up a few vehicle weights on the web. Only SMART was under 2000 pounds. Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa, Chevy Spark, all more like 22-2400. Fit and Fiesta were over 2500. We had an older Toyota Tercel that was just at 2000. Light cars are hard to find.
