5rdriver has the right idea. And as others have said, bumps happen on everyone's roads and it all depends on how seriously you take them. We had a very nice trip for our first over 1K trip this summer. We went to GA from central IN to have some truck mods made, and had a great journey, with the worst trouble being a wire tie broke holding up the rear jack motor wires. We stayed at a great park on Lake Sydney Lanier in a space in the pines where several deer and their fawns visited us twice a day. We rode our bikes whenever we wanted and had friendly people in the office to deal with who let us extend our stay by a day at the last minute. I think this thread has possibilities. Maybe we need to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative. Happy Trails, Y'all!
