This may be a little off base but, we met some kids from France at Joshua Tree NP last year. Got to talking about the rental van they had, I forget the name but they have wild paint jobs and are barebones camper vans. They loved the little van but too small for three, sleeping was cramped. Well one of the campers came back to work as an intern on a horse breeding ranch and we just put her on a plane for home yesterday. Great experience as a result of camping. You meet the greatest folks in the world in campgrounds.
