This thread reminds me of the guy across the road going to work a 5am every morning and allowing NO TIME to get there. he jumps in his Duramax statrs it, backs out of the driveway and hammers it past our house.. and wakes me up every morning, or did, until I asked him to idle it past out place so I didn't have to listen to that stone cold engine suffering.
He finally blew it up about a month ago. Stone cold diesels don't like abrupt thermal expansion not do they like immediate shutdown when hot either.
Bought himself a gas truck this time and lost his butt on the diesel.
