Wow. I really just can not understand the rants about neighboring campers regarding when they pull in, how they pull, in or how they pull out, etc etc. They all have the same right as you do to pull in a CG site and pull out of a CG site.
Life is short, if stuff like this bothers anyone perhaps they shouldn't be RV'ing. You know how small campsites are, how close the neighboring camper will be, you know that ahead of time, you pay for a reservation and yet still go there.! :C
I'd be curious to know if those that do have a problem with DP neighbors, are you weekend/vacation campers that think a campsite must be 'completely' dead quiet during their stay?
I snowbirded, full-time and quite honestly have never had a problem with how people pull in and out or how they run their engine or not. Many gas and/or diesel RV'ers will pack up disconnect and run the engine for the AC etc. before they are ready to pull out.
And honestly the MH DP engine is NOT that loud. Kids running and hoopin and hollern up and down between RV's is far louder! :W
You know when they pull in the engine will stop and when they pull out and run their engine you know dang straight they are getting ready to leave! Sooo? :B
It's like complaining about the neighbor who mows his lawn at 6 am on Saturday or the kid who plays basketball against the garage door till midnight. Yeah, it's just part of life and one should just "let it go", but some days it just gets under your skin and you need to vent.
