If anyone should idle it should be me driving a old 12 valver but guess what? I don't.
Engine starts within 20 seconds of leaving and let's be honest about cool downs. By the time you off the highway and to your campsite your motor is not going to get any cooler. Your oil temps are already as low as they are going to get.
ANY engine and drivetrain produced after about 1990 does not need a warm up of more than a few seconds unless needed for other reasons.
