I have a loud diesel. The family can hear me half the campground away. I try my best to be courteous of others and if I have to come and go more than once I day I get a little worried about the noise. It is not fun when leaving the campground and the other campers are watching you idle bye. I even yell at my kids when they are a bit too loud. LOL

I start the truck and idle for about 30 seconds and off I go. I just don't hammer on it until warm.
