When I worked in the oil fields back in the 80's and drove a big rig with an Allison 16 cylinder train motor on the flat bed for fracking we started our rigs up at the first of the week, and left them running until the job was done. Could be five or more days.
Of course in Wyoming when it is 50 below you might not get the truck started again if you let it cool down ;)
Now, a family RV, in a camp ground, in above zero temperatures. Start it and get out of dodge please.
