I've been lucky. Both my ex-wife and my current wife love camping. My ex-wife and I DID camp - in a tent - for our honeymoon. That has nothing to do with why were divorced by the way. I have to say it was the best trip I ever took. Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, badlands,Devils Tower, mt Rushmore etc, etc, etc!
My current ( and last) wife and I had a class c and now a tt. Not too many of our friends camp, but we make plenty on the road. If we camp locally, our non-camping friends will visit.
My wife's only demand when we bought our c and then tt was her own bathroom. Not hard to please! We've had many memorable and fun trips. We've never tired of it. Yeah, we take the occasional "real" vacation, but nothing is more fun than camping!
