$140 dollars a month vs a 'burner' smart phone from Walmart:
No contract, no updates/upgrades needed every week to keep phone functioning, unlimited talk, text and data for $45.00/mo.
I see no reason why these phone companies 'still' require contracts other than to hold you hostage for upgrades to make more money for them. Article in Barron says these new china smart phones are taking a huge chunk out of samsung who's ceo is in a coma and son will have to pay several millions of dollars on estate tax when he dies. They figure it will go bust when that happens.
And more importantly for me no tracking every single move I make or personal data compromised.
Go new burner smart phones! :B
