First off not sure why someone would put a pet in a toad while towing if I read that right.
I understand the issue of leaving a pet in a car or in the RV at the campground. Many campground don't allow you to leave a pet in or out of the RV if you leave the campground. If we know we will be doing a lot of site seeing on a trip or spending a day or two at the beach, we leave the dog at home or with friends as it is not fair to the dog. We use to also like to stop while on the road to or from a campground but can't do it if we have the dog. Because of all this our dog might be the only dog we will ever have.
