Just returned from an 8 day vacation to Hawaii which was a little beyond the capabilities of our Class C and all I can say is "Never again!" Don't get me wrong, we had a blast. Our neighbors gave us...

What a hassle! Hawaii has been the only place I have been willing to get on an airplane for in the past many years. And that's only because our friends invited us to join them at their timeshare.
On one of our trips to Hawaii, not only did our return flight get cancelled...the whole airline got cancelled (went bankrupt!)
On another trip, we got a Robo call that our flight was cancelled and we (4 of us) were rescheduled onto another flight. When we called the airline to get seat assignments, they already had 2 of us sitting on the other 2's laps!
On the mainland, there are sometimes when it makes sense to just do a car/hotel trip. But we are always happiest in the RV.
Love that you went boogey boarding! I used to do that alot when I was young.
