In days of old when airlines were bold and flights were either cancelled or overbooked they had a whole bunch of things they had do do for you the traveller.
Alas.. Rules were changed. (And frankly I've not been in an airport since.. I now fly the Damon Airlines..er,, highways in my Class A).
