I had exactly the same thing happen to me on I10 going through AZ on the way home to Calif, inner dually blowout. I have the AAA Premier service and tow my TT with a F350 with an enclosed box with lift gate. The responding service guy said that they weren't allowed to change inner duals on a box truck because of the weight. GVWR is 13K on my rig, but they would on a class C ??? He went ahead and changed it as a favor without charge and a followup call to AAA informed me that there shouldn't have been an issue. It does seem that coverage towing for AAA
is regional and you might get different levels of service depending where you are. I added Coach Net before the next trip and had two service calls for flats in Montana which were handled without incident. I've always had good luck with AAA around home but I don't like arguing with a tow driver about my coverage in the middle of nowhere.
