We have had CAA for almost 20 years and when we got into RVing we added RV Plus to our membership. We have needed them a number of times in Alberta and US,( Montana, California,) and they have never let us down, in fact the tow truck drivers are very knowledgeable and directed us to great repair facilities.
If all reports made here are true including some quotes from AAA themselves it wouldn’t ever be my 1st, 2nd or even 3rd choice…

6. The club shall provide service to the following:
• Four-wheeled motor-driven vehicles of the passenger, pleasure or recreational type (vans, campers and motor homes), regardless of license plate designation, if those services can be safely delivered.
• Dual-wheel campers/motor homes will be provided all services but may exclude towing, extrication/recovery and tire service due to size. Dual-wheel unloaded pickup trucks are provided all services except tire service when special equipment is needed.:h

AAA also will tow any vehicle, as long as you are there with your membership card. We live in Georgia. We were visiting family in NJ when my brother's car broke down. I drove out to meet him and called AAA. They towed it no questions asked. It wasn't my car and I was out of my region, but they didn't care. The tow truck driver never even asked for my card, so I didn't even have to drive out there. I've rarely had a driver ask to see my card.

Based on their service agreement you apparently Either didn’t know or intended to fraudulently obtain the service… you just got away with it…:o
