Several times through the years I hav tried to make a case for dropping all the abbreviations because it assumes that we all know them. I doubt if it did any good. All cultures (RVers are part of a culture) tend to have a special language partly as a short cut and partly to make them selves seem a little special. That's OK except that others don't know what you are talking about.
