Poor taste? Yes.
He lives full time in a van with no shower, so he's bound to cleanup eventually. I think he should have waited until after dark, but I don't think he's hurting anything. He was somewhat out of the way and was located in an area where someone wouldn't just stumble upon a naked man. The only thing he hurt was some feelings of people on the internet I guess.
