CEO abuses friend's young dog

That is good to hear, I doubt he is sorry at all, hopefully he still has to carry out his sentence.

Centerplate -- the company that provides food services to Lucas Oil Stadium, the Indiana Convention Center and the Indianapolis Zoo -- has a new CEO after previous CEO Desmond Hague was caught on video kicking a dog .

According to court documents, Hague was in an elevator in Vancouver when he was caught kicking a Doberman several times and yanking it by the neck as he left.

The video went viral and people around North America promised to boycott any facility that uses Hague’s company.

The company announced Tuesday that Hague had resigned, and Chris Verros was appointed to acting president and CEO.

Joe O'Donnell, chairman of the board of directors for Centerplate, apologized for the incident in a statement released to the media:

"We want to reiterate that we do not condone nor would we ever overlook the abuse of animals. Following an extended review of the incident involving Mr. Hague, I’d like to apologize for the distress that this situation has caused to so many; but also thank our employees, clients and guests who expressed their feelings about this incident. Their voices helped us to frame our deliberations during this very unusual and unfortunate set of circumstances."

Verros had been COO of Centerplate since 2010.

I would like a nice long elevator ride with that idiot. Why in the world would anyone want this dumb @$$ working for them? He can't be that good at his job if he is this stupid.

This story made the news along with a local story about a cop who killed his girlfriends 7 month old jack russell puppy because it made a mess on the floor. I had to turn off the TV and sit on the back porch until the news was over last night.

Not all animal abusers are serial killers however.

I just emailed the 49er office and told them they should use their power to have him fired. I'm sure they carry a lot of weight with Centerplate since they have a contract with the new Levi stadium. Maybe it's better to leave him in place so he can suffer the humiliation and pay the fine.

That guy has problems and needs help. People that start out abusing animals tend to do the same to people later on.

Why would any company want to have an employee, Especially the CEO, who has so little compassion for a dog ,associated with their company.
Centreplate board of directors would have had enormous support from their customers if they had fired him immediately. Come on Guys, Grow a pair!!

And You know that A front line clerk if caught in this type of behavior would have been fired immediately!
