Not normal... We do get condensation around the metal ceiling vents from time to time but not enough to drip.
Not sure what you would need to do to fix the problem. There are drain holes that can get plugged up on the frame work for the A/C unit. If they are plugged water could be running into the ducts. You need to be on the roof and remove the shroud to look for the drain holes. Here's a DIY for it http://bryantrv.com/roofacleaks.html
