A/C model number

I need a little help. I have a Duo Therm Quick Cool 15K btu A/C unit. Where on the unit do you find the model number? I learned this fall you shouldn't camp under a walnut tree.

I am going to replace the shroud but in looking online I see I really need to know the model number. We didn't get any of the manuals with the trailer as we bought it used. Thanks, John

  • On that model it won't hurt to use Eternabond. A shroud for that should be around $100- the new ones have a closed back.
  • After thinking about this for awhile. I have some eternabond left from another project. I think I will try covering the holes with eternabond. I plan on trading up in another year or two anyway. What do you all think of using eternabond to patch it up with? Thanks, John
  • I patch mine. I buy a small fiberglass patch kit, and do the patching on the interior side.

Thanks Wiscampsin, got it. Dang A/C shrouds aren't cheap!!!
  • On mine, I can take off the filter grill. There is an electrical box there with all the wiring connections. Behind that there should be a label with the model number. As said, you will need a flashlight.
