To add to SoundGuy's excellent post, whatever circuit you plug into should have as few loads as possible. For example, at my own home, I use a 30A to 15A adapter and plug into an outdoor outlet on the side of my house. This outdoor outlet is part of the same circuit as 2 bedrooms the hall and the living room. Too many other things on it to run the AC in the trailer. If I want to run the AC, I instead plug into the outlet behind the washing machine in my garage, which is dedicated (nothing else on the circuit) per code even on older homes. Find a dedicated outlet and you will have little trouble running the AC
