This is our third weekend using our ac and the other two times it worked great. This time the unit has frozen up twice. We like it cold the first time the ac was on 60 and today it froze up when it was set at 72. I'm I doing something wrong or should I take it in for warranty repair?
How do you know it froze up? What brand name and model of AC unit is it? Is it ducted or direct discharge? If ducted makes sure all the ducts are still hooked up. Also, is there water dripping off of the sides of the RV? If not maybe your drain is plugged up and the water can't get away. This will encourage freeze up.
The fan wasn't blowing the amount of air as normal. The ac is a dometic. The ac is ducted but has the dump on the unit itself. When the ac freezes up the water stops leaking from the roof. When running normal the water leaks at a good rate.
