A good cleaning usually gets things right. If freon or whatever they use,now, it will cause freeze up and shut down. I've wondered why they have a low fan speed, if it going to cause freeze up. Newer units should not do this, you'd think?
What is the biggest problem is they don't put a sufficiently sized unit, on RVs and not near enough insulation in roof and caps.
Must be some kind of law? Two twenty thousand BTU units or three should and insulation, and good ducting distribution, should keep everything nice and cool, inside and quiet. They sure wouldn't run so much.
having said that Friends, in Florida have a newer Bounder and it is cool an quiet when the units are operating. The larger of our two units sound like a F15 spooling up.
