Sway will be the issue. building / engineering a hitch mounted platform won't be. Tie the frame together from side to side as well as running supports up close to the axles in a K fashion. I have built racks that use two receiver tubes for strength and to take the rock and roll out of the racks. much over 300 lbs. and you will need to start shifting weight in the trailer to prevent sway. Think outside the box and you will find ways to shift the weight. Last one we did we ended up sliding the water tanks toward the tongue to equalize the weight. Also keep in mind that with mods like this the tongue weight becomes heavy without the bike on the back.
