Thanks for the replies. The reason I am considering a quick way to drain the heater is because we have been getting the rotten egg smell when using hot water. Not noticeable with cold water. I have sanitized my system and no smell so far but I have heard that this is a problem with Atwood heaters and draining the heater when it is not being used seems to help. We never had any bad smell when we had the Suburban water heater. Thanks again for all the replies.
