Adjust hitch after switching to LT tires on truck?

As the topic states: I believe that my new LT tires stay firmer with less "squish". It seems logical that this accounts for the rear end staying a little higher under load than it did with P rated tires. Enough so that I think I can use one less link on my WDH. Or, is my thinking flawed? Any opinions?

I'd like to have less tension on the WDH, as for the last year, I have to raise the jack to the max to get to the link I want/need.
  • x3. Don't adjust spring bar tension, adjust hitch height. Trailer should be level or slightly nose down when the height is adjusted correctly.

  • If your hitch is staying higher then you have already reduced the tension some.

    I'd leave it alone.
