Assuming the owners did most of the work themselves, and it is located in area that warrants that much modification, very good. Other wise I would think building from the ground up would be a better approach. TT's just are not built that strong to start with. I think they did a good job on the conversion, it might not be my cup of tea, but then it does not belong to me, it is theirs and they should be proud of it. I am sure he had to get approval of his design changes before he went forward. Judge not lest you be judged!
