We use a GE small room a/c unit bumped up
to a living room window, not hanging out.
Right now with 550 lbs of gel batts we
can run it for 13 hrs non stop, or the
block heater on the 3406 Cat for 4.5 hrs.
That does flatten the volts to 10.5
though. By the end of summer we will have
1100 lbs of batts and will need more
solar panels. Right now 640 Watts works.
We only use the a/c for a few hours on
very hot afternoons. I usually shut off
the bath and bedrooms.
