Air Force One Brake System

Anyone have the air force one brake system

I recently purchased a Ford Edge and had this installed

I use to have a brake buddy in a previous car -

From the few people I've talked to about it - seems they liked it

Any issues I should know about
  • First class system. We've had one since we had a 2005 Diesel Bounder. We've moved it to 2 new coaches and 2 toads and it's still going strong. Nothing to put in, take out or mess with. In addition it's the only system out there that meets the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards as far as hooking to the RV air system and using air for the toad brake.

THeir customer support ids great too. We broke a brake pedal actuating cylinder cable on the way down from Alaska. After a call, I sent the cylinder back to them and they replaced the cable and sent it back. Less than $30, including shipping and I had it back installed 10 days after I dropped it in the mail.

If and when this one finally dies, I'll have another one as fast as I can get it. We have over 150,000 tow miles on it an still as good as new.
  • LOL a little late to be asking the question after it was installed. Personally I love mine
  • You've made a good choice. If the system was installed properly, you should have no issues at all.

I think you will find that your MH with the toad will actually stop in a shorter distance in a panic stop than the MH without the toad.

It is a very fine system!

    Good Luck!
    Wil
