My toad doesn't such a connection. I think most don't.
In any event, care must be taken to make sure that the toad brake indicator light is powered only by the toad brake light switch only. Unless care is taken to isolate the toad brake light switch from the MH brake light switch feed back from the MH brake light switch will power the supplemental brake indicator. This isolation is often done by installing diodes in the proper places on the load side of MH and toad light switch.
