Leveled off an area beside my house and built a shelter for the pup and canoe. Doesn't look the best but for 120.00 it works and is cheaper than one year of storage. Just need to tarp the sides onc...

Add me to the list, I agree with all the other pessimist so far, and we will see how well cleaning it off goes a 2AM and again at 3 AM… but more importantly I would like you to post a video of you holding it down in the wind, and I am not sure how you will predict when wind gust will arrive…
I think you met the goal of making it look very temporary, but can’t believe that crazy wacko bylaw inspector in isn’t going to knocking on the door someday with an order to remove it for safety reasons…
I think you have raised the risk of damage to your house and toys, no matter how well intended your thoughts were…
One thing I do agree with, its your nickel, your house, and your toys, to do with as you see fit… I just think you got a lot of good advice and refuse to even consider it… as often happens here, you sought affirmation, but got information you didn’t want…
While this is what you want to hear, and I am sure you like to hear, IMHO it does you no good and is not helpful to you , since property protection is your goal…
