Leveled off an area beside my house and built a shelter for the pup and canoe. Doesn't look the best but for 120.00 it works and is cheaper than one year of storage. Just need to tarp the sides onc...

Well not exactly I posted after the fact, after the update… I applaud his ability to keep the snow load off and coming from snow country know how daunting that can be…
but still what he built was cheap and frugal, but it was also under built, and poorly designed, and I still agree with the ”quote” naysayers… I am not sorry the predictions didn’t come to bare but that doesn’t change the fact… even a blind squirrel will get lucky and find the nut sometimes…
my major concern was the poor anchoring and wind both at the house and to the ground… and I would not like to hear someone was hurt from flying debris from this setup…
and yes I would hope my buddies would alert me to this danger if I didn’t see it… they wouldn’t be much of a buddy if they didn’t…
