I plan on using the snap together type. Fasten one side and do not fasten it anywhere else so it can float. I dont have everything figured out as I have only peeked under the edges of my carpet but I should be able to fasten the edge that will go just under the edge of the slide.
Use 1/4 round trim or something on the other three edges but dont glue or staple it through the edge of the Allure, fasten it to the wall or cabinet.
My slide is raised like the one in the pic. The edge in the pic was made out of wood and screwed to the slide with wood plugs over the screws. The Allure would probably be fastened at the wood edge and float toward the outside wall. Some have a different slide system with the carpet flap. If it looks like a problem doing the slide then it will get new carpet. At least that's what my plan is.
