I am amazed at the actions of some fellow RV campers do. There's the fellow with blue gloves draining the grey and black tanks with gloves "blue" unhooks the sewer hose and then proceeds to disconn...

Which "water tap"? Most dump sites around me have a rinsing hose at the sewer dump that is marked "not potable", and then further down is a "potable water" tap for refilling your fresh water tank. I always keep my rubber gloves on when using the water at the sewer dump to rinse out my stinky slinky.
Talking about the one you use to get fresh water from to use in TT. These are the one you find at TT site. Imagine the next guy uses the 'portable' water tap full of god knows what on it?
To thoses who say when we grew up we this and that well I did too, but I never played in $8!t.
