I am amazed at the actions of some fellow RV campers do. There's the fellow with blue gloves draining the grey and black tanks with gloves "blue" unhooks the sewer hose and then proceeds to disconn...

Always an interesting topic and yes we all have to learn as we go and hope that we improve as we move along. I did not always wear gloves but since I have been sick I wear them know. Also my grey tank does the rinse, I never use any type of hose but have seen people take the white hose right from the trailer to the sewer hose to rinse and this was a guy who told me he had been camping for years. They now have a blue hose for drinking water as well.
I always open the kitchen, connect the water hose, put on gloves, hook up sewer, remove gloves, wash hands and move on. When closing I put on gloves, dump and remove hose, remove gloves, wash hands, close kitchen, remove water hose.
Seems to work.
