1 bought the RV in 2001, so I am not a new RV'r had a 1968 VW camper until 2001.
2 stinky hose (blue) is stored in a black sewer pipe attached to the back bumper.
3 have a compartment that is dedicated to the black water items, grey hose goes in there and all the adapters for hose and camp grounds.
4 my motor home has a separate compartment where the white hoses and pressure regulator and connections ride.
5 blue hose rides in the toad, used only when needed.
I am simply amazed at what some folks do, saw one guy dump the black tank on the ground and then the grey tank in a National Park, nice soggy stinky site for the next guy.

I think another poster was saying that the person you were talking about might have been a "newbie", not you.
Black tank dumped on the ground, now I would have said something about that, as well as gray water...but as far as your post on the guy you watched disconnecting...hopefully he'll learn, but it wouldn't have bothered me enough to post about it....Now when you saw someone dump their black and gray water on the ground, THAT was noteworthy.
