I use to smoke a cigarette while dumping but I quit smoking last Sept. so now I just eat a snack.....usually peanuts or cashews.
Course when I was a kid we ate dirt, ate worms, ate fruit/vegetables right off tree/out of ground, swam in ponds, drank from hot rubber hoses, swallowed some gasoline time or too.....
Besides....check valves on tank flush/city water connections and it is MY poop.
Saw you lurking......guess I should have waved.
We must have come from the same generation! I REALLY remember siphoning gasoline from Dad's car to use in the lawn mower, and all that I swallowed too. Drank from the hose in the yard, (still do), and in my camper I use the same hose for everything. I don't use gloves, and my hands never get dirty, contaminated, or even wet when dumping the tanks. It's all a mater of how you do it.
I do get my kicks watching folks with the gloves being all so careful, and hen simply tossing their stinky-slinky in a bucket or tub with a bunch of other stuff, falling around and spilling everywhere!
