I imagine very few people will understand either of the above reference but I do.
Levi and crew were Amish that practiced vigilante justice against other Amish, attacking men and cutting their beards in an attempt to shame them. They are now doing prison time.
It is a crime to sell raw milk in Ohio. An Amish man was the victim of a set up a year or so ago, gave away some raw milk. The recipient insisted on compensating the farmer, after refusing payment numerous times the farmer did accept a token payment. He was then arrested for selling raw milk.
Neither of these stories has anything to do with camping in Amish country. It is a great place to visit. The Amish are all too happy to take money from the English. The English are anyone that is not Amish.
Edit:
I didn't realize Levi and crew was in reference to a tv show that I have never seen. My post is referring to the 'real' Amish mafia in Ohio.http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/09/us/amish-sect-leader-gets-15-years-in-beard-cutting-attacks.html
